Goodness...oooh oooh oohh it's a...

Hubby and I are so excited to announce that we are having a little girl! We were so thrilled to see her moving about and got a great shot of those tiny little feet! We have to go in for another sonogram just to make sure her heart is forming correctly, but we aren't worried. She is still tiny so maybe they just couldn't see everything.
Michael called everyone announcing "Get ready for the future Miss America!

I said to hubby...get ready for the invasion of pink! Wink wink **
Advice to the "parents again to be...but this time it's a girl" ...welcome!

Nic:
I have two heart murmers and don't know much about them. All I know is when I go to the dentist..I have to be medicated..same with when I deliver a baby, I have to be medicated. When they did a sonogram they couldn't see how the blood flow was moving through her heart. I am earlier than the docs thought..so she is tiny. They said that the heart had all four chambers and was pumping good. But they want to do a cardioechorgram just in case..so they can check the blood flowing through the heart. They are going to wait 4 weeks until she is a bit bigger.

So if you are earlier, did they change the due date?

I was also born with a heart murmer, but outgrew it by the time I turned 2.

Well it's good news then if they said all four chambers were pumping good...nothing wrong with being extra cautious!!!

Nope still August 18th. She will be a scheduled c-section. Docs wont let me deliver naturally after my last birth.
See they didnt find my murmer till I was 17, then they found another had developed when I was pregnant at 27. That is what alarms them. That and the fact they don't have much info in my file about me. I just choose not to worry so over it. When your talking about your heart you can get paranoid. (That takes years off your life)

Congrats on the news!
A baby girl is a wonderful gift.
So now you're planning your "Pink Shopping" parties, right?

Congratulations to your family, it's a girl! Wonderful. It's really something how medical science has advanced, and potential problems can be monitored, even corrected, before a baby is born. I hope and pray that the upcoming tests reveal a healthy baby.
