Double Jeapardy is a beautiful thing...isnt it?

Wow...OJ Simpson... I always knew that he got away with murder. Then with the law suit, never paying a dime, got away with murder twice. Now OJ pulls a "nanny nanny boo boo" you can't catch me move! Writing a book "If I Did It" a 'hypothetical' account of how he would of committed the murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. It's the closest to a confession of murder I think we will ever get out of him and on top of it, he is getting paid millions. Murder for Profit. This is complete devastation to the families of the victims. But I worry what kind of message this is sending. Fox is actually going to air a special from OJ that is more of a promotion for the new book coming out. I am sure billions will tune in. I haven't decided if I will or not. I can't ever see myself purchasing the book b/c that is like paying him for the crime. But I wonder if I would succumb to the morbid curiosity of the TV Special. Something tells me I won't. I just can't believe that he can get away with something like this.

What is going on today?

This is a bit strange. Of course, he is catching a break (like other criminals have) with Florida not having the law most schools have prohibiting criminals from profiting.

I just wonder about his children. Why would a man do such a thing? I gues if you are already a murderer how much ruthless can ya get.

But now his children are going to suffer the death of their mother all over again and the haunting fact that their father is gloating about it.

I think this is the first case where a murderer has publically admitted to it after the trial is over and actually wrote a book and aired a special about it.

It is all very sick and twisted to me.

Hey El! My good friend RT also did a post about this. Under the caption Fox something.

I think this is sickening, personally. He is basically admitting what he did. He must be really hurting for cash...and doesn't give a crap about his children's feelings.
I am sure this also rubs salt into the wounds of Ron's poor family as well. I remember how devasted the dad was. I remember all of this so vividly, as it happened right when my daughter was born. I remember breastfeeding her at ten days old while the big bronco chase was on.

I do remember the father Nic...how devestated he was and how determined the sister was for justice. I feel so bad that this family has never gotten any.

The Audacity of Foxes

that is RT's thread on this.

I feel so badly for Ron's family as well.
Nicole's sisters also must have felt so bad, as they were aware of all the abuses she suffered

I walked into our local store yesterday and said to the guy is that our newspaper he says "yes, OJ is showing how he would of killed them to prove he didn't do it"
I said "I could tell you how much money I had if I was at work rather than being at home with my kids" and I asked him if he wanted to pay for my purchase...

omg some idiots will do anything to get on t.v.
why doesn't OJ make a porno like the rest of them lol

Come on now, ellie. He doesn't actually confess in the book.

There is some good news coming out of his book. The Goldman family will finely get some money. There is pretty much no way around it.

I was probably one of the few that actually thought he might have been innocent when it all happened. Shortly afterword I realised he pulled a fast one. This just confirms it.

I won't be buying it, or even looking at it. I'll also sign any petition to keep that snuff off the shelves as well.

daniel, I don't believe they will. Florida does not have the law that many other states do prohibiting criminals from profiting off their crimes.

Now Nic..that is truely disgusting...the word juice makes me cringe...hold on a sec gotta go vomit!

I just heard the news on the radio, Fox is pulling the TV special in reply to the overwhelming negative reaction from the American public. And, I understand the book is done for, too.

Ultimately, it appears that Fox had the common sense to not exhibit such poor taste.

Imagine this...

They have decided to cancel the book and the TV special.

I read that yesterday as well. I was very relieved. Still though, it is in the air that he was going to do it. So he might as well of said...yeah I did it. It doesn't make it any less painful to the families involved.
